Corcovado - or "Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars" is a translated Portuguese Bossa Nova love song.
It has been covered by Sergio Mendez, Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams and others. Hopefully our version evokes the dreamy happy/sad reflections on love that Jobim portrays.
As far as the title: "Quiet Nights" - we all can understand and appreciate that. But "Quiet Stars?" - I have yet to hear any noisy stars. Have you? Maybe it's a Brazilian thing.....
